Posted on behalf of forum user 'silvester747'.
I often keep my workstations running overnight. That usually means that in
the
morning my active P4 tickets have expired and need to be renewed. However
P4Eclipse does not seem to detect that the ticket has expired and starts
* If I try editing a file, it will simply refuse to change it, as p4 edit
fails;
* If I then click Team > Refresh, it will act as if the file is not under
version control yet (only Mark for Add is available) and it is still
read-only;
* Only after going to the Perforce view and clicking refresh there will
finally
show a password prompt.
