how to identify which was the last changelist number(upto) from mainline to dev stream is merged
It's easier to answer the opposite question: what is the first number of change on the mainline that has *not* been merged down to dev:
p4 interchanges //depot/main/... //depot/dev/...

Subject: [p4] How to identify the last merged change list number in the streams.

Posted on behalf of forum user 'Anjali'.

Hi All,

we have two streams. One is Mainline and other is Dev.

Most of the time at one point, we have to do the merge from mainline to dev
stream and we submit a new change list(Example: CL100) on dev stream

Here i would like to know, how to identify which was the last changelist
number(upto) from mainline to dev stream is merged if submitted change is CL100.

we need to automate this merge, changelist by chagnelist. so we need to identify
the last merged change each time from mainline to dev stream
beforewe start the next merge.

Please let me know if you need any additional details.

Thanks in advance.
