Any news with that? If you already have deb packages, setting up a repository is
very easy.

Hi Sorin,

Thanks for the interest. Debian packages are not currently in the short term
plans so I've updated the enhancement request with your comments.

I have also created an entry on P4IdeaX so you and other people reading the post
who are interested in the feature can vote for it:

I don't know how long its been there since its dated 3/31/14, but there is
an apt & yum repo at http://package.perforce.com/. I reverse engineered
this info from
http://answers.perforce.com/articles/KB_Article/Public-Key-for-RPM-Packages.
The only package on there is the P4/LINUX26X86_64/2013.3/740675 p4 CLI client,
not even a proper installation (does not install in path). But its a step in the
right direction!

Progress! We're working on package for our multi-component products like
Git Fusion, Insights, and Swarm first, but packages for all the other pieces
will come after.
